The route starts from the entrance of Sataplia and is headed towards the colchic forest trail.
Visitors have an opportunity to learn about the elements of Colchic forest and woody plants, of which almost half are relict. These are: chestnuts, Imeretian Buckthorn, Colchis bladdernut, the Box Tree, and many more. The trail also covers other plants species that are rare and near extinct, and as such are included in the Red List of Georgia.
