synagogue

The synagogue was constructed in 1904 by the famous architect Lev Volkovich. In 1929, the synagogue was closed according to the Soviet Union’s governmental bodies’ decision. While it was abolished, the territory was used for sport activities. In 1998, the synagogue restored its status.
